Lego 90th Anniversary Celebration Poster

This poster design was directly inspired by Anton Stankowski’s works, specifically the poster he created for Weltspartag der Sparkassen in 1978.

I felt as though recreating this poster for Lego’s 90th Anniversary Celebration and utilizing its unique style would work fantastically well with the brand (stylistically speaking), as well as pay homage to the company’s proud Northern European roots.

This was a quick project (created over the course of two days), and required minimal planning, instead allowing the original to be the sole reference.
